hi everyone! today was a long day. for almost the whole day, it was just leisure time. Time for us to adapt to this place and trying to mix with the other campers. The highlight of the day was the welcome dinner which was held outdoors. We had some kinda rice for dinner ( ms low told me what it was but i forgot haha). and then, there was this drink with chilli and onions. i find it kinda weird. but i tried to finish it anyway. After that, we had some entertainment, all related to dance stuff. The other campers were really brave and expressive while we stood around to watch them. We all wanted to join them but were too shy to say it and in the end, we didnt really join the dance much. It was awkward but it's a lesson learnt. In future, if i want to do something, i guess i will give it my best and not be too self-conscious. We got to know this girl who came from thailand alone. I think that it is very brave of her to come to a foreign place all alone. Also, we got to know two girls from Peru. We did not communicate much. However, i hope that tomorrow will be different-that we will all socialise more and get to know more people as well. Rest well, everyone! Tomorrow will be a better day! :D
