We touch down in Melbourne pretty early today. The plane flight was pretty wrecked causing most of us to have insufficient amount of sleep. However im sure the lethargic feeling left us momentararily when we finally arrived in Trinity College of Melbourne.
The first day is basically a get-to-know-it-better session, to let us familiarise with the area, hence other than a simple tour of the neighbourhood streets and a welcome dinner in the evening, there are basically no other activities.
The welcome dinner lasted through most of the evening, the sun of Melbourne only sets around 9pm Australia time. Leading to a time lag of 3 hours compared to Singapore. The activity was very well organised however, due to a lack of courage, we did not take part in the dancing event. However i did get my hands or rather legs on the "limbo" activity that was also organised by the mentors.
I feel that we had much fun however we should really take more initiative to enjoy all the activities that the mentors planned for us. Overall i think the trip in a good note, if we just do our best to try and interact and socialise more with people from other country, eventually im sure we would forge stronger bonds with one another and it would end in success.
All the best for tmr programmes and the many important events that had been planned out for us.
Looks like the college has a soccer field... with proper soccer goalposts.....ahem....ahem....
