Day 1: The Mass Dance!

Alright.
Day 1 down, it was really fantastic, getting to know each of us better, bringing in the mood and stuffs.

To start it off,
Gathered at 9.30 at the Terminal 3.
A little slight briefing and official documents settled.
We checked in and board the plane.

A little excited about the take off, very first trip to Melbourne.
Most of us took short naps till 1.30 when we had our Supper on the plane.
Small Discussions among ourselves to bring up the spirit. Rest.
Breakfast at around 4.50 in the morning.
Arrived at Melbourne at around 7am.

Passed the Custom and took a short bus journey over to Trinity College.
Got our dorm keys and moved into our rooms.
The Menthors took us around Lygon Street.
Basically, Lygon's full of Restaurants.
We had our lunch over at this Oriental Noodle Restaurant.

This was what I had, taste a little blend, maybe due to the lack of MSG.
Overall, pretty big serving.

Back at Trinity, a little free while waiting for the Welcome Dinner to kick off.

Welcome dinner was good, everything was fantastic. The food was great. The Juice was new. The mussels were fresh. No doubts about it.

This is where everything gets kinda heated up.
The games started. Jing Yi did this Limbo Challenge.
Really wanted to try it, but something pulled me back.
I told myself, " I'm going to try the next one instead. No pressure."

The next one was this Macarena Dance, basically we just had this actions to follow throughout the song. Yea I tried. Definitely fun, trying to catch up with the song. Takes practice.

Up to now, to tell the truth. I'm still pretty hyped up about this whole dance event.
Pretty interesting, met new friends and totally Awesome!

Well, the next activity was this "Disco Dance", okay sounds cool to me.
Not until I see others doing it. I told myself, "I have to try. But, lets wait things gets a little interesting for me."
A Menthor pulled me in," I got Jing Yi and a few others to join me, yea it was pretty fun. "
But to be frank, the other half of me was wondering how I got into this thing.
The dance and people started to get a little more "Interesting". I'm sure you guys know what I meant.

So far, pretty shocked, still feeling marvellous, terrific. But, it was way too out of my head.
I just don't have the mindset to do it. A little Self-Conscious here. Its just not into my mind yet.

This was pretty much everything today.

Now, a little reflection.
I know myself, I tried communicating with a couple of students from Malaysia. Yea It came out good. And I'm definitely going to keep that up, hopefully.
I really need to left myself go out there and have a try, because I know I'm going to regret it someday later. Which I am already( Great. I Missed the Limbo!)

With that I end this post, wondering whether tomorrow will be beter( I'm sure it will:D)
